When designing IP Video Surveillance solutions, the cost storage has a big impact on the total cost of the project. If remote monitoring is a requirement, then bandwidth can become critical in your design. Integrators should be aware that not all VMS/NVR solutions are not born equals in terms of storage and bandwidth usage.
We tend to believe that only the IP camera will dedicate how much bandwidth is required and not the VMS/NVR, but it’s not entirely true.

Revised and Simplified pricing for Omnicast
We received requests from Integrators to simply our pricing.
To simplify Integrator's life when they need to price a system, we just created a new pricing model to address system under 50 cameras.
The pricing structure is very simple, only 2 line items
• Base package
• Camera license
And it's very completive for small systems.
Contact your Regional Sales Manager and ask him more details about the Omnicast Standard pricing.

Easy deployment of Omnicast and Security Center
We have integrators that can upgrade 50 machines and validate the whole system in a single night.
In our lab, when a new build is ready to test, we have hundreds of blade servers to update. We don't install each server manually, we just push the installation wherever we need it. Omnicast and Security Center installation/upgrade scripts are designed to scale.

A real Point of Sale Integration
Many video surveillance systems offer the ability to index information with video but they are all doing it in a different way, not all of them are doing it efficiently.
Omnicast is leveraging the power of relational databases by implementing a real database schema for each type of meta-data and not just inserting text annotation with video.
